Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Mae burst into the music scene as the front-woman for local band, Tireshoe. Their soulful, rock and roll outfit brought a vibrant live show to local Denver venues, including headlining at the Oriental Theater and sold out shows at Globe Hall. Now, as a solo artist, Mae Hunniford captures the same propensity for a great live performance with a catalogue of music that is deeply personal and emotionally resonates with her audience.
Mae’s music has been featured as a spotlight artist on radio stations Indie 102.3 and KRFC 99.9. She has been a featured ‘We Make Noise’ writer and producer, Denver Spotlight Awards nominated songwriter and artist, and a featured on bills alongside nationally touring artists Forager and ORION 224.
